We are nervous in front of a camera, and can be awkward. How can you help?

How long does it take to get the edited images?

For weddings I allow up to 10 weeks after your day to deliver the fulI gallery– but I always edit a sneak peek within the first few days after your wedding. For engagement sessions, I give myself up to 4 weeks to finish the gallery, but again, I always do a sneak peek!

I feel you. I actually always have felt uncomfortable in front of the camera, too! That being said, I am prepared to help you every step of the way. I will help you with nuances of natural posing, (the key is making it look unposed, right?) while still bringing out the natural romance between you two. We are not models who are used to be in front of a camera, and that's ok!

How do we pick the best outfits and location for our session?

Do I need a second shooter?

Don't worry, we'll do it together, based on your idea and wants from the portrait session. I always send my couples a Pinterest board guide that helps inspire some outfit ideas, and helps couples understand what colors will photograph the best and are most flattering in still imagery!

That's a super common question! A second shooter always is a bonus. Not only are they able to capture a different angle or perspective, but you will also receive more wonderful images in your finished gallery. Plus, it is always nice to have a second camera in case of a technical malfunction with equipment. If you can fit a second shooter into your budget, DO IT!

okay, I'm in!

Once all the details have been discussed and confirmed by both sides, we sign a contract. You pay a 30% retainer and I book your date in my calendar. It's that simple! We are ready to plan full steam ahead, let's do this!

It's all fun and smooth sailing after step #2. If you've chose to add an engagement session, we will get that session planned. Engagement sessions are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera (and with me!) prior to your wedding day. If you've chosen to skip engagement photos, we can always meet up for a wedding planning coffee date to meet anyway!

First things first, head over to my contact page and tell me all about you two! I want to know your vision for your wedding day, your vibe, and how I can serve you. I'll get back to you within 24 hours with my pricing brochure for you to review. We can meet over coffee, FaceTime, or via a phone call to chat and see if we are a good fit!
